2008, Blacksburg, VA — ESS Technologies, Inc., U.S. distributor of
Bergami cartoners, tray formers, wrappers, and case packers, has
added Bergami’s new Model TF 80 Automatic Tube Filling and Closing
Machine to its line of packaging machinery. The Model TF 80 fills
and closes metal, plastic, and polyfoil tubes with
diameters up to 50mm. Designed to cGMP standards, the TF 80 is
suitable for use in sterile rooms and laminar flows, and fills and
closes up to 80 tubes per minute.
Ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and consumer product packaging, the TF 80 can be integrated into a complete packaging line for a full turnkey solution designed by ESS Technologies, Inc. The TF 80 has a small footprint, and the stainless steel frame and control panel provide easy cleaning and maintenance. Moving mechanical parts are based on self-lubricated components, while a user-friendly touch screen display allows the machine operator to adjust performance and maintain operational logs. In addition, the TF 80 can run both plastic and metal tubes without removing the sealing stations, providing low changeover time.
The TF 80 features a 12-position turn table. Tube infeed options include cassette infeed system, ergonomic and high capacity infeed system, and orthogonal two-axis robotized system. Safety couplings protect the mechanical parts from overload, assuring long life for the tube filler. This new addition to the Bergami and ESS Technologies, Inc. product lines offers flexibility, speed, and reliability.
