Robotic Palletizing/Depalletizing

ESS Technologies, Inc. robotic palletizing and depalletizing systems can incorporate a number of FANUC robots, depending on the required speed and payload of the application. The FANUC M-20i robot offers a 20 kg (44 lb.) payload capacity. The FANUC M-710i robot has a 45kg (99 lb.) payload. The FANUC M-420i robot has a 40kg (88 lb.) payload capacity, and the FANUC R-2000 robot has a payload of 165kg (363 lb.). The system operates at speeds up to 25-30 cases per minute typically. Higher speeds can be achieved, depending on the robot specified. The robotic palletizing/depalletizing cell comes standard with custom end-of-arm tooling, a pallet stand/guide, guarding, an Allen-Bradley PanelView operator interface and PalletTool Turbo operation software. Product changeover time is usually less than 5 minutes; however, multiple pallet cell configurations may require up to ten minutes for complete changeover. Pallet cell options include powered pallet discharge conveyors, powered pallet infeed conveyors, automatic pallet dispensers, tier sheet dispensers, vision-guidance and optional PalletTool software for mixed loads and depalletizing applications.
