The ESS Technolgies, Inc. WA Series Case Packer incorporates a servo driven loader to create a wrap around style case packing system that receives product on in-line infeed and orients the product into a pre-determined pack pattern. A servo vacuum arm picks flat blank cases from a magazine and erects the case in a vertical position, and secondary flaps are closed. Product is loaded using a servo driven loader, and the case is sealed with hot melt glue via a Nordson ProBlue 7 device. The WA Series provides superior product handling and can be ordered for a number of products, including jars, cartons, vials, trays, bottles, etc. The case packer offers fast changeover times, typically less than 20 minutes, and a very compact footprint. The WA Series has been specially designed to address the needs of pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics and cosmetics manufacturers.
